Post-Acute Care.

Socialising, Relationships, and community participation.
Socialization for the elderly is just as important as it is for the younger generation. When seniors socialize, they enrich their lives. There are many benefits for older Australians that come from maintaining social relationships.
Shopping.
Having a helper on hand can turn grocery shopping from a chore into a fun outing. We can take you to the supermarket or shopping center, and push your trolley so you are free to peruse the produce and choose your own fruit and vegetables. We can help find everything on your list, grab any heavy or hard-to-reach items, decipher food labels, navigate the self-serve checkouts and bring you back home. Once there we can help unpack the groceries and put them away. If you prefer, we can do the shopping for you or arrange internet access so you can shop online.
Respite Care
At Chaperone Service providers, we offer short-term care options that suit you and your loved ones. Our aim is to ensure you feel relaxed and stress-free while taking a break from your carer’s role.
Sometimes carers may need a few hours here or there to tend to some of life’s tasks, or simply time to relax. Taking a break from your carer’s role can help you restore your energy, reduce stress and keep your life in balance. Whether it’s a few hours a week to run errands, a weekend off here and there, or time to take a holiday, our friendly Home Care Workers can provide help and support either at home or out and about while you enjoy a well-earned break.
How it works
Getting to know you and your routine and needs is important to us. Your Chaperon Service Provider Customer Care Manager will spend time with your family to learn about their interests and understand the tasks and activities they need help with while you are away. We will work with you both to understand any specific needs and to find a suitable team member who you can really trust to care for them during your times away.
Depending on your individual needs, our friendly and experienced Home Care Workers can visit on a daily basis or occasionally, several times a week or overnight, ensuring your loved one is properly cared for and feels comfortable and safe whilst you are taking a break. We will tailor our services around what you both need.
With our in-home respite care, one of our professional experienced staff will come to your home when needed, so your loved one can remain in familiar surroundings. We can take them out on a day trip or social engagement.
Whether it’s assisting your loved one with daily tasks, taking them to appointments, or spending time with them, our friendly home care workers will care for your loved one in a kind and considerate way, giving you peace of mind.
